Peter and Anna Vavasour planted the first grape vines in the Awatere Valley in 1986, an area now regarded as one of the premium grape growing regions of Marlborough, New Zealand.

20 years on, Vavasour Wines is a highly experienced team of wine growers, makers, managers and marketers, with that same pioneering spirit and passion for innovation in making quality wines.
