The 2004 Dashwood Merlot was produced from selected Hawkes Bay vineyards. 

The 2004 growing season was warm with an extended autumn. 

The grapes were harvested and vinified using traditional methods to ensure a warm and inviting merlot. 

On the nose the merlot shows ripe plum and mulberry with hints of spice from the oak.  The palate continues these fruit characters balanced with smooth tannin finish.
