The 2005 vintage in Marlborough produced top quality grapes from below average yields. This resulted in exceptional concentration and flavours.

The first mouthful of the 2005 Redwood Pass Sauvignon Blanc gives an immediate sense of enjoyment. At the front of the mouth you experience intense tropical flavours, cantaloupe, passionfruit and gooseberry.

At the back of the mouth, the mineral overtones reflect the influence the Awatere Valley terroir has on the fruit grown in this picturesque part of Marlborough.

It is the combination of these two taste sensations that makes this style unique in the world of wine and encourages consumption while still young.

Wines of this nature are created by favourable growing conditions in the vineyard, and experienced craftsmanship in the winery. Your enjoyment of every glass is a reflection of these two influences working in perfect harmony in 2005.
